Fast Paced Captivating Thriller (Book Review)

Book: Hush a Bye Baby: The Cradle Will Fall Author: Deepanjana Pal Publication: Juggernaut  Hush a Bye Baby is a crime fiction authored by Deepanjana Pal. This is the author’s debut novel and it’s Wow!   The story starts with the poplar socialite gynecologist Dr. Nandita Rai, getting arrested for interrogation of female feticide. The team of police working on this case, under several pressures, have to prove their point and get the culprit to accept the crime and bring her to justice.  Whether Dr. Rai commits the gender-selective abortions or not is no secret. The thrill is built when the Team of police – Hadpude, Lad and Reshma begin hunting for clues and work along their way through strenuous interrogation.

Good Start, Predictable Storyline (Book Review)

Book: Letters To My Ex Author: Nikita Singh Publication: HarperCollins (India) As the title of the book explains it is about conversation between two lovers turned exes just that it is in form of letters (mostly).   The story is about Nidhi and Abhay who break off their relationship at a very unexpected moment – their engagement. The entire storytelling is in the form of the letters; which tells the reader about their love, relationship, thought process, confusions. Some parts of the story took m e back to my teenage years.
