Every one has a story, yes that's a fact, we all have tales to tell; we all have OUR stories to share... those which are unheard and untold, yet waiting to come out of the closets of our soul and be known to the world .
No matter how reserved or secretive one is, the desire to be known rather heard of never fades away.
We all want to tell (our) stories to the world. And looks like Savi Sharma strikes the right cord here. The story she narrates resembles lives of today's youth- independent, ambitious, passionate, confident and yet confused when it comes relationships.
The story is about two such youngsters, well actually four, about how they fall in love, but the difficulties they face in either accepting the relationship or leading it.
The protagonist Meera, who dreams of becoming an author is in search of a story that can touch millions of lives. Well she does find one in form of Vivaan, who touches and changes her life. He loves her, she loves him but they are not ready to accept it. Why? Both have their own reasons.
The book revolves around these two friends, who can't stay without each other, who kiss each other, just once though and are yet unsure about their love (maybe I am an old schooler, but this is a little weird to me).
Then there's another couple Kabir and Nisha, who play a important role in the protagonists' lives. The story gives them due credit for being a great support to Meera and Vivaan.
Friendship, love, trust and relationship are the core elements that runs through out the book.
Overall, I feel this book is a good read, though there's nothing intriguing or inspiring about it. It's a simple love story.... Ah no, a simple 'I now realize that I love you' kinda story.
It's not a very long book and a quick read; youngsters will certainly relate to it, however for those who need more than the vanilla love stories, this book might not be a great option.
For the rest, this urban tale is a refreshing change!!!
