Of Love Deceit Pain And Self Realization (Book Review)

Book: Thank You Love Author: Ayush Gupta Publisher: Half Baked Beans In this day and age, it is not uncommon to fall in and out of relationships. People get into relationship (on trial basis) if they feel things are not working out, they break up and get into a new relationship. It’s fine! It’s the norm today, majority of our younger population follow it.  However, what is unusual is one of the partners unable to get over the break up and move on in life. It is not very common to see somebody being unable to believe that his/her partner has moved on and so should the person as well. This plot revolves around Rayan, who is madly and deeply in love with Akshita; however due to certain circumstances Akshita decides to break up this relationship and move on.

Not Too Dreamy... Close To Reality (Book Review)

Image Source Book: The American Indian Dream Author: Pranay Sahu Publisher: Half Baked Beans I received this book from HBB via Goodreads and the first thing that caught my eye was the name of the book. The American (striked out) Indian Dream, something indeed very new. The plot is fresh and I must appreciate the research the author has done be it in terms of the activities in the Guru's ashram, the simple things involved in the lifestyle of different cities mentioned or the entrepreneurship and also the insides of media/journalism.

Short Stories With Fresh Perspectives (Book Review)

Book: The Fence Author: Multiple Publisher: Half Baked Beans I won this book in a 'giveaway contest' on Goodreads.  The thing I like the most about an anthology is that it is colourful (not literally), but it is the different thoughts and voices that of various authors. Different genres of stories, different writing styles all of it a result of different experiences and observations. The Fence is a collection of eight such short stories.
